At over 12,000 feet above sea level, Lake Titicaca near Puno in Peru is the highest navigable lake in the world.
Indigenous Aymaras still live on Uros.
Uros are a group of 42 or so artificial islands made of floating reeds.
I shall never forget the vivid colors of Lake Titicaca.
It leaves one practically breathless!
(Of course, lack of oxygen doesn’t help either.)
Enjoy and have the “Bestest Day“!
