Our one hour long flight from Berlin landed us in rainy Krakow just before noon. We decided to take a cab to the town to save time. After a fast check-in and a short chat with hotel’s concierge; we decided to join a group tour of the famous and still working salt mines outside the city- a perfect rainy day excursion.
We did a quick walk around the old town in search of a place to have a simple lunch and found a cute cafe nearby.
Our second day in Krakow was spent under cloudy sky. Our guide, Katarzyna, did a great job in showing us her city. We really enjoyed our time with her.
The sun came out in the afternoon, in time for a walk by the river and watching a few men drowned in a game of chess.
Off to Berlin tomorrow and later back home- where we belong!.
