Kodak Moments

The Daily Pix, Lake Titicaca

At over 12,000 feet above sea level, Lake Titicaca near Puno in Peru is the highest navigable lake in the world. Indigenous Aymaras still live on Uros. Uros are a group of 42 or so artificial islands made of floating reeds. I shall never forget the vivid colors of Lake Titicaca. It leaves one practically breathless! (Of course, lack of oxygen doesn’t help either.) Enjoy and have the “Bestest Day“!
